Worry about Delta, and keep an eye on the omicron variant. That appears to be the latest from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The omicron variant spreads more easily than the original coronavirus and vaccines and boosters will continue to play a key role in helping keep Americans out of hospitals, according to a 5-page report detailing 43 cases of omicron in the U.S., released by the agency on Friday.
